Trying to post a pictue of my old 350 I just bought for cheap. Second Picture is of my last project that looked about the same shape as the 350 when I got it. Someday maybe the 350 will look simliar. Hope the pictures work, first time trying.

An interesting piece of history on your 350:

The rear wheel hubs are NOT original. They are from an H or Super H.

Those are drop-center type wheels. A 350 should have double-bevel wheels, with 8 holes in the casting.

Might be interesting to track down the reason why the wheels were changed.

Thanks for the info on the wheels. I would have never known. I ended up giving $400 for it. That is the good side. The hood is missing on the other side. I did drive it home, about a quarter mile. Anyone know where I can find the right side hood?

With regard to the wheels-are you sure that is a 350 and not a 300? I think the early 300's had those wheels and many were painted red and white to resemble the 350-- check the serial tag. Regardless you got a good deal.

Several things made me think it is a350. It has the quick hitch with traction control like I was told was on the 350. It also has the c175 engine . The serial # is 554 which according to tractor data site could be a 1954 300 or a 1956 350. This would be an early 350 I believe. Maybe they just had some wheels left over? Casting codes also show 56.

Another interesting thing about this tractor is that it only has one hyd remote or outlet that operates the fast hitch. I have no idea where it came from but most older row crops around this area had cultivators on them back in their day. I would like to add at least a second to possibaly operate a wood spliter.

Sarge, I would say you have a 350. It has the correct steering wheel and the correct C175 engine. Like someone said, it has wheels from an H or Super H. The 350 should have double bevel rims with 8 holes rather than the 6 yours has. But if you only paid $400 and it runs, you got a very good deal. Al

I'd go back to the sellers place and ask him to let you do a complete search of all the buildings and barns. Odds are it's there somewhere. Sombody pulled some maintenance on it and was too lazy to put the hood back on. Or ask the seller if it was missing when he bought it or first saw it.

As far as the hood, the seller does not have it. He ask the guy he bought it from and don't either nor does the one he bought it from. I am already searching salvage yards for one.

Your 350 is in A LOT better condition than mine was when it was acquired. Gave $800 for it and it was in pieces. Someone had begun a half-arsed restoration and had broken the block pulling the liners.

Another $1700 later and just about 100 hours of labor and it now looks like this.
