Probably more of a question I should be asking in the "tractor pullers" forum???I have seen this asked, but CANNOT find it on here.
Farther down this post,I see where it is talked about what hubs adapt pressed steel wheels to the rears.I see where Oliver adapters work,I see M&W made them (PRICEY on EBAY !!!!)Did anybody else make a clamp on style hub to bolt on rears.

Now the front hubs:I hear of guys using front hubs and wheels off of a cub to get the pressed steel wheels????(Is this right???)Or what other Farmall hubs that use a bolt on steel wheels with a 5 or 6 bolt pattern can be used???? Is this a "bolt on" with a bearing change,or something???

I have a set of clamp on duals for an M. Supposedly they were M&W, but they aren't axle mount like the expensive ones. These are just plain old clamp on duals. The clamps may be a bit different, but I don't have the clamps for them. If anybody has only the clamps let me know. No sense having them without the clamps.

IH started making 2 3/4" 9-bolt hubs when the 560's came out for using 18.4-34's.

M&W made 9-bolt hubs for 2 3/4" IH axles, too. I have a couple of sets for dualing up my tractors.

I also have another set that my tire man said were made by Peterson (or -en).

I think Unverferth made hubs to fit these axles, too. I know Unverferth made a hub/casting that bolted where the wheel weight mounts on the center casting to bolt a 9-bolt wheel for duals. DMI made dual hubs at one time, but I don't know if they ever made these.

What kind of clamp?"boomer"type?or "J" bolt hook?You
may be able to manufacture something.I made a set of
hooks for the 1256 duals years ago that I'm still

They could be cutting the 'spindles' off the bolster and welding a nother set on to get the small hub/wheel.or maybe, they have a "hi dollar" custom "pullers bolster"

Welcome to the wonderful world of competitive tractor pulling. It sure brings out the "crazy" in people.

Easy to put 6 bolts on the front of a M using a 60 series or some newer models lower bolster with hubs. Aftermarket makes some hubs to fit a M spindle also I think. H lower bolster can have 300 utility hubs installed. Several choises on a 2-3/4 rear axle. Lots of other different things are made up or used for light weight parts.
