It appears that the rims on my M or 10". That seems like it
would be pushing it for 13.6x38 tires. Miller Tire has 12x38
rims for a decent price. They have a rim with a drive lug and
one without. What is the deal on this? This old girl is gonna
be a parade queen so I wouldn't think I would need the drive
lug. Thoughts? Thanks for all the help fellas.

Get the drive lug!!One tough pull, you will spin a wheel in the rim,and you will be buying a tube. How do you know that it will NEVER 'pull' anything?

You will want the drive lug.

Edit to add, looks like $65 difference for a drive lug and paint, based on the price list on their site. You can do that yourself if you can weld and paint.

Or sell it to someone who does? I would guess you could spin the rim pulling onto a gooseneck of backing up a hill on a bad day.

I wouldn't worry about running 13.6s on a 10" rim. I can show you a picture of my MD with 13.6s on 10" rims. Looks fine.

Get rims WITH the drive lug or put them on yourself, never try to run a tractor doing anything without out them. Put 13.6's on your M, they're just right. If it was a Super M I'd say 14.9's. We've got 13.6 new Titan long bar-long bars on our '49 M and it looks fine and pulls good plowing or whatever. I tried 13.6's on my Super M years ago and had to ride the left brake too much plowing..with triple weights on the land wheel. Put on 14.9's and what a difference...worth the money!

Have you tried to source rims locally? Miller's prices are great until you factor in shipping, then BLAMMO... may as well shop locally.

Yeah shipping is nasty, but they have a truck coming through
my area in March and will meet me and drop them off for 0
shipping.
