I'll probably get around to changing the rear tires on my 100. Currently has 11.2 x 24. What others sizes are made today that fit and work well ? Is there a slightly different size that sells for better prices ? Any brand to defintely stay away from ?

9.5's and 11.2's were common 12.4's are alittle big on them. Personaly i would stay with the 11.2's they are a nice fit for that machine. BKT's are a reasonably priced tire that hold up well.

After having the 11.2's on there you probably won't be happy with the looks of the 9.5x24's. The 11.2's fill out the fender nice, and 9.5's will look a little spindly.

You can go up a size, but you said you're looking to save money. Besides 12.4x24's are too big for the tractor.

Keep in mind that tire size affects the ground speed of the tractor, and the power to do field work. Bigger tire means faster tractor. Bigger tire takes more power to turn, leaving less power for pulling implements.

Tires are one of those necessary evils that you just have to bite your lip and pay the price. It's not going to get any better as time goes on.

I run 11.2x24's on my Super A and on my B. The SA has BF goodrich's and the B has Firestones field and roads. The Fire stone are a little shorter than the BFG'S.
Both work real good!

The 11.2 is good for traction like plowing but if the tractor is just for pretty you mite like the 9.5 if your rims are the 8in ones but if yours are 10in you would like the 11.2
