Super C grader blade

I just bought an IH C-72 blade for a C/Super C/200... that looks to have everything for a front mount, but I need to mount it in the belly position and am not sure about the rear mount.

This tractor does not have the fast hitch so I"m looking for a picture of the back of the frame for how it mounts in the drawbar area. This frame appears to have been cut and re-welded at some point so may ask for some dimentions as well just to check things out.

Thanks,
Stan in VA.

here is a picture of my c with the blade mounted up front i don't know how to mount it under the belly i do know its easier if you have somebody to help you mount it

Stan, there is a seller on eBay who sells a copied version of the owners and installation manual for the C-72 Grading and Leveling blade for the Super C tractor which includes the mid-mount location. I didn't see he had one presently listed but in looking at completed sales he sold a copy in late January for $9.00. The seller's id is (bsharptwo) and you shouldn't have any problem obtaining a copy which will answer all your questions. I got one a couple of years ago for my C-72 fast hitch model which is also included in the same manual. Hope this helps, Hal.

My super C has the same blade and controls. Was this an IH offering or an aftermarket? From the sloppy welds on my rig, I'd assume aftermarket.

There are brackets pictured in the owners manual to be used on non fast hitch SC`s if you wanted to use it as a belly blade. The brackets bolted to the trans. housing.

Finally got my old YT ID to work again, and thought I would close the loop on this...

Hal is helping me off-list, going over and beyond in his efforts. Thanks :)
Henry, that's it exactly, thanks for posting the picture!
Mark and Brian are both right on, it's a factory setup and was available for both standard drawbar and fasthitch models.
Peters..... Is that you sneaky? ... A discussion even remotely related to fasthitch would draw you out ;) From an old ATIS guy that enjoyed the occasional banter between you, Lane and Mike.
Stan.

Hi there Stan, how`s it going ? It`s been awhile- I remember meeting you at a Red Power. Yes it`s Sneaky and I actually still get posts from the ATIS board, just don`t post much on there. Haven`t heard much from Mike or Lane lately.Nice seeing a name from the past and you`re still hanging around the old Farmalls ! Don`t be a stranger around here.

I wanted to post a photo scan from the info Hal sent me in case it helps any others here, these are the pictures in the manual of the rear mount for the standard and the fast hitch models.

Stan.
Good to hear from you too, Mark. Definately been awhile...

Stan posted the picture from the manual I sent him that you wanted to see. The thread is back around page 7 at this time, Hal.
