IH 2001 Loader and SH

From what I can find, it seems the IH 2001 loader are pretty good loaders...is that the general consensus? How would that loader do on a SH w/an M&W live pump? I know mounting will take some fabrication (came off a 756) but would that make for a good combo or am I looking at too much loader for s SH???

What would be a fair price for a 2001 loader in fair condition with 42" manure bucket and 6.5' snow extension???

Thank you!

We had one on a SM worked fine, priced it to a guy for 1200.00 and he paid cash on the spot.

I bought a 2001 loader off of a M about 2 years ago now.. I gave 400 for it.. I put it on a D-17 Allis. Seems to be a sturdy built loader.. I'm happy with it, I just need a bigger bucket (mine is only as wide as the loader frame) and the tilt cylinder was pitted when purchased and has just started to leak in the last few months.

I'd rather have had a 2000 loader with the twin tilt cylinders (and a lot easier to get a wider bucket) but for the price, I'll keep using just what I got.. Beats the Kelley loader I took off the D-17 hands down!!

I'd have to look in my manual, but I believe the Farmall 350 is one of the tractors listed as "compatible" with the 2001 loader. If a 350 will work, so will a Super H.

Mounting on the SH won't take as much fabrication as you probably think. The frame rails are only 2" narrower than a 756.

Your biggest challenge is back at the rear axle. SH is square. 756 is hex shaped. I think the 2000/2001 had slightly different side frames for the two different tractors. Again, I'd have to look in my manual.

It may not be a problem, but doesn't the torque make the 350 9 inches longer than the SH?
