Farmall 300 vs 350

I have found a couple of far malls in my area for sale. Both seem to
run well with weak TA. Both are gas models. The 300 has a loader,
fast hitch, wide front and narrow front come along with it. The 350
is a basic narrow front both have fast hitches. I don"t really plan
on using the loader so I just wanted the compare the two models.
From what I read it seems they are both very much the same.
Thanks

Very similar tractors. 350 has slightly more horse power and a better 2 pt hitch. There was a diesel version of the 350. A 350 would be a couple of years newer.

You say you don't plan on using the loader but once you have it on a tractor I will guarantee you will find ways to use it.The older you get the less back power you have, and more brain power you will have(as in useing the loader instead of your back).I have a 300 with a loader and I have gotten alot smarter, just wish it had power steering.Brian

There were a lot less 350s made. That and there paint scheme make them more sought after. Good ones are hard to find.

Originally the 350 would have a few more HP and several small improvements over the 300.

In the last 55 years, odds are good the 300 has had its engine rebuilt with "overbore" pistons so its power is on par with the 350. Some of the other improvements may have been incorporated, but none of them are anything you can live without.

The basics are all there on both tractors: Live hydraulics, live PTO, TA (when you fix it).

On the fast hitches, the "improved" fast hitch on the 350 really isn't an improvement at all. The older style hitch on the 300 has held up over time much better because it doesn't have so many wear points.

IMHO pick whichever one is the best value for the money, or whichever one you like the best.

Wouldn't the chances also be that the 350 is bigger than stock as well?
