Well Saturday I'm taking a drive over to Miles, Iowa to Hasken Tractors they have the parts I need. I don't how many people are familiar with this salvage yard but they've been in the business since 2004. By looking at their website they have a good selection of Farmall's.

Good deal. That was the one he didn't want to sell parts off?

Is he close to Jim Johnson or is this the formal name for Jim's yard? The card I have doesn't have anything more than Jim Johnson tractor parts. I see they are both from Miles. My neighbor said there was another yard 10-15 miles west of Johnsons. Is it that one?

This tractor is from Hasken. Hasken has been around since 2004. What's the address for Jim Johnson? Hasken is west of Miles right off highway 64. If your friend says there's another yard, it might be Hasken. Will I need extensions w/ratchet or can I remove it with a wrench?

I just looked it up. His address is Lincoln St in town. I guess we will get the scoop when we go out there???

Maybe he is buying parts from Haskens and selling them as his own? He told me he had a couple rare ones and so does Haskens... Maybe he has a hand in Haskens?

Check out that WD-9 seat if you see it. Mine could use some love.

You have to have the lower cover off to get to it 9/16 socket. Once you get inside there is 1 bolt holding it on against that big, "wedge" washer.I believe it is either 7/16 or 1/2 bolt,so you will need a 5/8 11/16 or 3/4 socket,(cant remember wich???)but you need a LONG extention for your 1/2 ratchet take a selection of 12" and 6' extensions with a swivwel for the socket end. No trick to it! ;)

Are you picking up any extra? And,are you getting any other hydraulic parts? Another auxiliary valve? (Just askin? ;)

Got the parts I needed! :D FYI this guy has a MTA with a auxiliary valve still there and all mounting parts. I know the MTA is harder to find. So anyone needs the original I would check it out.
