I guess it would depend on the brand and model of the loader.

You talking about those old IH loaders? I think it was a #33 maybe?

I have one we always used on our M. Haven't used it for 8 or 9 years, but it would still work I guess. I think it could be made to work on an H.

Someone might have a manual if you give us the loader make.

The McCormick #30 and #31 loaders are made to fit both the H and the M. A few simple adjustments are required the different widths and lengths.
 
Most loaders and other types of mounted equipment will swap from an M to an H with the addition of spacers to make up for the narrower frame width of the H.

The spacers are already there on a #30 and a #31. You just reposition them.
