Hi Lo trans on Farmall 140

I have a Farmall 140 with a lever for a hi/lo trans, i have never been able to find any information on it. It is def a farmall attachment, has anyone ever heard of this or know anything about it, specs etc?

Is the gear box mounted in front of the transmission, or in between the transmission and final drive?

I have only seen one in my life time. It was on a 140 Hi-clear tractor and i have seen a lot of 140s. They have to be rare.

IH made some 404 tractors with hi lo. Never knew about 140 but they were made a long time so maybe the same type that the 404 used was installed.

THe gear box is betweent the trans and clutch. This is in a hi crop 140 Farmall, we didn't even realize what it fully was when we bought it. The sale was a large nursery going out of business a few years back and they had 3 of them with this type of trans.
