I was curious about what kind of MPG a Farmall H might get. Someone asked me about fuel consumption today and since I have not used my '44 H yet, I was curious.
 
I would say 15 MPG or more in 5th. Unless you were going up hill all the time it would be at just above high Idle. But real numbers are in Gallons per horse power hour.

i agree with jim that 15 mpg is more in reason.
in 5th there is no load on the engine and not like your in the field plowing working the engine, thats where it will suck the gas. from my experience they burn far less running on the road in high gear.
