Looked at a Regular today with a aftermarket steer gear box, never seen one before. Was wandering if they add value to the tractor.It also has overdrive box and Starter bellhousing and ringgear. He is asking $1500 Not running but turns over.

if the rear tires are any good the price isn't too bad. I have never seen that steering setup, i have seen the enclosure for the original steering that pretty much just looks like a duckbill, overdrive depends on make how much more its worth, starter bellhousing and ringgear setups bring big money. I say buy it, get it running and find a starter and have some fun with it.
 
Looks like a "modernized" Regular. Steering, cold F-20 manifold, starter, overdrive so it would be a one of at shows. unstuck might take half a day to get it running.
 
saw one of those covers sell on ebay few years back and IIRC it was around 150


its all personal preference but id see if i could get it around 1200 or so.


FYI if the starters missing your gonna be a while trying to find one. ive got two setups on the shelf that are missing the starter and ive been searching for months for some
 
$1500 is a good price for that tractor with all those options and good rear rubber. It would be nicer if it ran for that, but if its unstuck then it shouldnt be too bad.
 
I'd jump on that one. Yes, I have one of those steering boxes and have seen one other. But neither were marked. Maybe now I know who made it!
 
The problem here is he has this tractor plus 2 more regulars and a F20(39 on cast), and a f20 for parts.
The F20 and one regular runs. He would like to sell all at once. All I wanted was a Regular.

He must be willing to sell just one if he gave you that price. I know if I had to choose, I'd take that one. All those extras make it a lot more desireable, and don't forget what tires cost nowadays. Seeing how it's been restored, although an old restoration it probably won't take a lot to get it going again. Heck, maybe if you get them all he'll give you a good volume discount!
