I don't recall what you are working on? Might be a strong chance the 47499B crosses over to a newer part number?

i would just make those tabs out of sheet metal of the proper thickness. all the engines i have seen with them its not like they do anything. have never found the rod bolt loose and said oohh luckey it had this tab bent on it. using removeable locktite on the threads is probably more effective anyhow.if its torqued its torqued.

I called two dealers Google said would carry 'em. One had none, another five. I'm going to follow the others' advice and go with loctite. Thanks guys

The dealer with none can order you 8 from the warehouse.

The dealer with five can order you three more from the warehouse.

Have your dealer contact the Parts Depot as their inventory shows (19) in Wisconsin and (9) in the Tennessee warehouse. Couldn't find a replaced by part no. Hope this helps, Hal.
