In the process of restoring a McCormick Deering #62 Combine. We would like to find a 2nd machine for donor parts or if nice enough to use as the base. We have the Continetal Y-69 Power Unit completed and are ready to start on the thresher. Ideal distance anything locaed within 350 miles of Aberdeen, SD. Please respond if you have or know of a machine.
Thanks

I'll check with my dad. I know it's a McCormick with a continental. the engine did turn over a couple years ago--too loose imho. probably still will turn over.
threshing cylinder was free up to 10 years ago, I haven't looked at it in awhile. Has pickup header and auger hopper (not a bagging platform).
There's about a days work to clear a path. tires are now shot--has spoked rims. paper pullies are rotted off. It's been in the same spot since the 70s and there hasn't been paint on it since I've been alive, but the sheet metal all seemed solid (never peeked underneath). I'd have to look at it in the spring. There was some patching done to elevators, etc over the years--common wear, common on farm repairs. It is parked on or near a cement pad from a barn, so most of it has been out of the dirt, even though it's outside...
I'm going off memory though, so a closer look at current situation is in order.

saint cloud MN area.

The one we are working on has the grain tank and a hart-carter scour kleen unit on top. Would be interested in finding a little more info on your machine and whether or not it is for sale. Let me know.

Thanks
Todd
