H steering post -- Yooper

Don't know why I have three different posts. I told Yooper yesterday I would look at my spare post.

Spare post (used) is 25-5/8". It has the gas tank seam clearance dent (which I believe to be factory). Also has the angled early foot-starter rod holes 4"-5" from base. Does not appear to be cut as the steering shaft bearing holes are there.

40 H post is 26-3/4". No dent but has the starter rod holes and rod.

54 Super H post is 25-5/8" (same as spare post). Has the dent but is way to late for the starter rod hole.

Don't know why the two early posts have different lengths. FWIW, my SMTA posts are the longer length plus there are no dents. Maybe the 40 H post is actually an early M post. M posts don't need the dent as there are several inches of clearance.

Yooper, my email is open if you want the post. If not, I will change out the 40 H post with my spare post at some time in the distant future.
