Went to slide the 1256 wheels out for the plow.Twisted the bolt off.But I got lucky-the outer wedge came loose, the inner stayed put, atleast I can use a BFH(about a 16 pounder) and a heavy 'punch' and knock it loose. An aftermarket wedgekit is about 58 bucks, not bad....Steve

Good luck with that.

I remember back when I was a kid, Dad tried to slide the wheels on one of the tractors for the first time. He didn't have the special wedgelock tool.

One wedge came, the other didn't. No big deal, BFH it right? Wrong. He pounded on that wedge for hours and it didn't budge.

In the end, he had to go buy a wedgelock tool from the dealer. With that both wedges popped right out no problems.

Since you have a broken bolt, I really wish you luck.
