What is this head off of?

That's a gas-start diesel head. The little lever on the side is to open the decompression chamber. The MD and the WD9 would look similar. It would take somebody better up on it than I to tell them apart.
 
Unless the injectors are updated and installed a earlier head. It looks to be from a D281 engine 450 series tractor etc. or from one of the last few D264 engines built. Not sure on years used on construction equipment. Should be able to find a head # on top left side outside valve cover area.
I failed to look at all the pictures. Its a D281 head also the last replacement head casting IH made for that size gas start.
 
at first glance i thought it was from the ihc 650, cause of the 10:00 position of the injector lines. BUT looking at the side view it is not. SO it belongs to the wd6,td6 or wd9 td9 engines. would have to check #s for sure.those injectors are the newer style so must have been updated.
