My lift box leaks all the fluid out and probably needs a repair kit. Anyone have step by step instruction on how to install a kit? Does the box have to be taken off to accomplish this?

Do you SEE it leaking, or is the fluid just missing?

The reason I ask is that it's VERY common for the pump to leak, putting all the fluid into the engine oil.

Ditto what JRS said.
Iff you do see it leaking a substantial amount of oil ,well then yes, you probably need to replace the orings and gaskets which are available from a CIH dealer, however I just bought one , around $130.00. First check the oil level in your crankcase oil pan.Let us know what you find.

Sir,

You can purchase the rebuild kit from your local CaseIH dealer.

The unit is called a Touch Control, and the best reference available is the Blue Ribbon Service Manual from IH. It is far from a step-by-step guide, though...

IH wrote the service manuals with the expectation that trained tractor mechanics would be doing the work.
