Donaldson precleaner and oil bath filter

I would like to know where the decal should go on a Donaldson precleaner, and how to tell if mine is original or a reproduction. I always appreciate your help.

I'm curious where, too. I put mine up high, on the steel part that holds the glass jar, but I think maybe it supposed to go down on the oil bath. I like it higher, I can read it. But I'm curious what the experts will say.

The decal for the air cleaner goes on the body rite above the cup where you put the oil. There was no decal on the precleaner from factory just like there was no decal for the shift pattern. These aftermarket decal makers have came up with some strange things after all the yrs.

Guy Fay wrote an AWESOME book on how to decal your tractors. It is called "Originality Guide - Farmall Letter Series Tractors" It is a must have.
