450 tach

I just installed a new tach drive on my 450 so now the tach will work. The problem is the face is so faded from setting out for the 30 years before I bought it that you can hardly read it. Does anyone know of a reputable place to send it to get a new face put in it. I really hate to but one of those $50 imported ones if I don't have to.

Bates Corp. rebuilds your tac

Metro Speedometer & Electric, LLC here in Missouri rebuilds them and has an ad in the Red Power magazine. I talked to them on the phone and seem to be good folks and very specialized and a small family operation where you can probably receive personal service. They only will rebuild original ones and not the imports which are showing up everywhere as replacements.
