what is this?

Hello everyone, does anyone know what the 2 coper washer looking things that are included in the in-frame kit for a farmall H with flat top pistons. They have about a 3/8 i.d and probably 9/16 o.d. look like some type of crush washer like a head gasket... Any help would be great.

They go on top of the valve cover on the valve cover studs. Then put the nuts on and draw down. They seal the valve cover stud openings.

And if you don'tuse them, carefully put them up on the mantle, in a little display case. They're that pricey.

If you loose them go to a plumbing supplier and get some. They may not be copper but SS and work well at a tiny percentage of the price.
