These are all very cool pictures of the H tractor, however the grill H is the best! Has me thinking of good plans for my "donor" tractor which I am stealing parts off of! :D

heres a 42 kerosene H i got for my dad a few years back. its OD green under the yellow, and red under the OD green. still has all of its kerosene goodies, and they still work

It's no use! I've been reading your posts and you obviously have Farmall Fever. It's un-curable but can be treated by a purchase every year or so, sometimes more frequently.

Now go get an H!

heres one i took in sept of 2001. dad lived to be 97. always loved his h. i still have and use it.

Man - good request soundguy - some GREAT pictures here.

Just what I needed for a cold wet windy miserable day.

Here are a couple of pictures of my 1941 H. It has the 11.2 tires in back...some people have wondered how they look. My other H's have 12.4's on them.

nice pic thanks.

Yep.. handcranking is um.. fun.. er.. maybee not.

I have hand cranked my C 3 times now. 1st was easy.. last was easy.. 2nd was during a freeze windy and wet.. and I spun that thing over a hundred times maybee :)

(quoted from post at 19:30:48 01/13/12) So,What is with the "chains to the oilpan" thing???

Sometimes, when hand cranking it, I pull too hard, build up to much oil pressure and blow the pan off!

Seriously though, they are the chains I tie it down to my trailer with, I stick a large magnet to the bottom of the pan to stick the loose ends to when driving it so they don't swing around and get caught on anything.

Yooper - At the City Utilities office, bout 20 years ago our new Superintendent bought a new office chair for the secretary. She'd had the old one far too long. It was all steel, too heavy, and they just threw it in the dumpster. I asked if I could salvage it. I was plowing my place at night at the time. Took the backrest off, put it on the H, painted it, and it is a real backsaver. Adjustable up and down. Made in America.
Thanks for asking.

Here is my 1942 as seen on stage during a 'Larry The Cable Guy' show at the County Fair in 2009.
The orange color on the paint comes from the stage light by the rear tire.

Nice looking tractor! Could you not find the correct decal package for it? I know where to get them if you are interested.

What do you mean?

The tractor in the picture I was talking about has the decal package for the later models on it, not the earlier model that it is.

Dennis' tractor in the above picture has the correct package on it that the '43 model should have.
