560 3-point hitch on an M?

I was given a 3 pt. hitch off of a 560. my brother in law seems to think that it would bolt to the rear axle bolts....

Anyone know if this would work or should I have a bracket fabricated to fit the M?

A 560 did not have a 3 point hitch, so the one you have is definitely an aftermarket unit. If it came off of a 560, it should fit your M the same way.

excellent, that what i wanted to hear! i was not looking forward to have to shell out the cash for a saginaw....thanks for the help

Width between the axle housing brackets are the same from the C thru at least the 560, and probably higher (656??).
