Can someone explain the shifting pattern for the 574,I know its got 8 foward and 4 rev.but it only has 2 levers,

It's a replication of the older ih design gears 1 to 4 hi/lo range with reverse. The 574 had decals on the levers, sounds like yours are missing.

Todd,I understand the gears,There are 2 levers which one is what,its not my tractor and its needing some work,Im just trying to figure it out

Lever closest to you (knob) is 4 speed. 1st all the way back, 4th are the way ahead.
Lever near fender (flat handle) is range, back is R, forward is L, pull the stick towards you in neutral and push forward is H.
You have to be stopped to shift the range, speed lever and be shifted on the move if you clutch.
