Loader idenity

Hi all, been quiet a while since I've been here but I'm back to hear what the experts have to say.

Bought a loader the other day for my 300U, all the measurements say it will bolt right up and sanding through the 10 layers of paint I find McCormick on the lift arms. Now for the strange part, at least to me, the lift arms are cut from solid 1" steel plate. I have never seen one like this and I can't find pictures of one in my google searching. Anyone have an idea what model loader this is? I should have taken pictures but I've got it all apart now.

Thanks in advance, Lance

Pictures of a 34 loader are like hen's teeth! The one I found shows a round tube loader which isn't what I have. Never thought finding a picture of a loader would be that hard!

The lettering I sanded down to didn't look like decals but paint, I may be mistaken but they appeared to have been on the first layer way down under.

The 1 inch this loader frame sounds like the No 52 loader. This one was at RPRU in Albert Lea last summer. The McCormick number 52 was built 1960-1961 and was designed for the Farmall 460 & 560 series tractor. There were only 524 of these loaders produced. Some pictures of your loader would sure be nice to see.

Oh yeah now we're talking, those are the same style lift arms, but my frame is much different. I have arms that go back to the rear axle and the rear pillars seem that they would be farther back. Though it's apart I'll take some photos tomorrow and see if I can get them posted up.

Thanks for putting these up, we're getting closer!

The owner of this loader sent me this picture of the model number 52 that was still visible when he started the repaint process. Maybe you can look in the same spot and see some type of number. The parts book for this loader does show side frame brackets that go from the upright towers and are bolted to the axle, but this loader did not have any brackets when my friend found it. I look forward to seeing some pictures.
