Hard to find O14 starter

I have been looking for a starter for my O14 for years with no luck at all I friend of mine has one that I can borrow for making a pattern.Iam concidering having the starer nose cone cast in cast iron then having it machined like the original one .My local starter shop tells me all the rest of the starter is readily available so the nose cone is the only unique part. My question is would anybody else be interested in one of these? I.f so I would get a number of them cast. Cheers Chuck Kaufman
 
Chuck, I no in the last year I have seen an f-14 starter sell on ebay. I no in the last 2 months I have seen 2 different F-14 starter setups sell on ebay. Bellhouseing, fylwheel with ring gear and clutch houseing. But no starter! If guys are paying over 1000.00 buck with out the starter there must be a sorce for them. oldiron29
 
Chuck, I read that this guy makes new electric start componentes for 12's and 14's oldiron29

Chuck,I have a F14 with a starter system on it.First question is ,is a F14 Farmall the same as your O14?If so I used a 3bolt flange starter from a W series tractor and a starter from a A B or c so the pull rod could be used.Then I drilled the mounting holes out one size larger becaues the starter had two be moved away from the flywheel just a little.It works perfect
