wireing Diagram needed

Have a 1948 Farmall H with Mag going to convert to 12 volt will be useing new Hitchi alt not very good at wireing i need step by step instructions please also need to no what different gages of wire to buy also bought new 12 volt lights had to get new kill switch and the alt i have has a built in reg Thanks guys you all have helped me out a lot if some one has a Diagram feel free to Email it to me Thanks

The diagram provided is the charging system. Wire the alt to amp gauge with 10ga. and from the amp gauge to the fuse link with 10 gauge. (a 14 gauge Fuse link is good) then to the Battery connection as shown on the starter switch. All other wires can be 12 gauge as the size is convienient to work with, and survives vibration. The L on the Hitachi is = to the #1 terminal on the Delco 10SI, the S terminal is = to the #2 terminal. If you need more ask. Jim
