I have a mid mount mower on a super A industrial, I think that is was a former highway dept. tractor. I need to know the model number of the mower. I need to find the pulley that fits on the pto that drives the mower. Thanks

John, Is it a sickel or rotory? Is it woods or other? Pto pullys come up on ebay all the time.

John, I did some poken. From what I see the only fully mounted sickle mower for A or super A was
Model #16A and 22A was for a cub. I think they are the same but the 16A shaft is longer. oldiron29

John, There also was a balanced head mower
(no pitman) I don.t think they came out till the 140 were around I think the # on that was 110

This mower has a very short pitman it will cut with the sickle bar in the upright position. I think.

The 18 was the highway mower for an A that used pneumatic lift. The highway mower for the Super A with hydraulics was the 23.

I have a #22 mid mount sickle mower for my Super A. According to the manual I have for it they made a Model 22 for Super A, L22 for the Cub lowboy and a different model 22 for the Cub. I have the manual out in the barn in my tool box so dont have the exact info

Thanks a lot. Mine is a 1954 with hydraulics. Is the tightner for the belt with the sides of the pulley moving in or out? Where can I find the pulley?

I don't recall how the belt is tensioned. Binder Books has the manual. Don't know where to find a pulley.

Does anyone have a picture of the pulley he is needing? I might have one in my parts inventory. I know I have several Cub Sickle Pulleys and Several PTO pulleys for the rotary mowers.

The model is AI-23 and is part of the 23 series of mowers. I searched for a pulley for 2 years before buying another complete mower for one. The pulley is NLA from CaseIH. The manual is available from binder books.

Thanks for your reply. I ordered the manual list week. Our local CaseIh dealer quoted a price of $127 for a new one,but I don"t khow if its the right one. How is the belt tightend, does the side of the pulley move in and out Like on an M Or H?
