M Grill Screen

Is there somewhere out there to get new grill screen for an M. Thank you.

The grill screen is 5x5 hardware cloth. May be available locally but I think most hardware stores go up in increments of 1/8". That means that 5x5 will fall between 1/8" and 1/4". (or 8x8 and 4x4)

OEM, Steiners, Bob's Farmall, and others that sell replacement parts should have it listed on their websites. Some cut generous pieces big enough to do three or four grills.

Carter and Gruenewald has the correct mesh screens -- no guessing.

I replaced the screen in my 450. Took a sample of the old one to the hardware store and they matched it.

Either you found the one hardware store in the USA that has 5x5 mesh screen, or the screen in your 450 was replaced with 4x4 in a previous lifetime.

4x4 simply doesn't look right for some reason.

I have yet to find a source for the 5x5 mesh aside from the tractor parts suppliers listed above.

Has anybody dealt with these Farmallparts people? They are way off on some stuff, but really reasonable on the next thing. Just wondering what kind of quality it is, made in USA, originality, etc. I first saw them around at RPRU in Madison, WI and have seen they are really growing their product line since then.
