hey what is the right color for front @ back rims for 1948 Farmall H is it alum or some kind of silver? and do i get it at dealer if so is there a no. for it or get it at some farm supply thanks guys

The wheel hub/weights,if any, should be the same red as the tractor, the "rims" should be aluminum color and any good industrial/commercial aluminum paint will work just fine.
Lots of luck with 'er!

I like the Rust-Oleum spary cans of "Hammered Aluminum". Has a nice, alum9num, galvanized look, is fairly bright and good-looking, and if you paint like me, all the runs and drips blend in to look just like galvanizing.

What george said! I think its actually called hammered steel, I think but dont hold it against me, but that stuff looks great.

That's what I do. The originals were plated from the factory and when we repainted in the old days we used cheap aluminum paint so that looks "correct" to me. Anything else looks hokey to me.

Since they were originally galvanized, there is no proper silver, so it becomes a matter of opinion. The CaseIH version does not look
"right" to me, it may to others.

I agree 100%.
