I don't know why It put 3 pics on here, I just planned on 1. I found that 1456 and I sold a 4020 JD to buy it, so I really wanted it.

Yeah, I'm going to take off that cab and put some fenders on it and make it look like a new one. It is a one owner and I think it is the original paint. The tach shows 5000 hrs. and it works.

Ga-Ezzzzzzee!

Throw some lower bearings in 'er and take it to the field. :>)

Oh yeah, that cab has "noise/PITA" written all over it.

Those rear wheels (not the rims and tires) look odd. I can see that the wheels have wedge lock axle clamps with concave turned in and a set of split weights bolted on . But what is the other stuff (unpainted), some kind of homemade weights ?

I saw a set of two light fenders for 06 and 56 series tractors just last week at a machinery yard not far from me.(nw N.C.) Good straight metal , need sandblasting and paint. They may would sell them as they had no tractor to put them on and they appeared to have been there a long time.

Looks to me that it one time had 30" rears. That ring is a spacer/adapter for 38" rubber.Nice find-I'm jealous....

Those rear wheels are definitely non-standard. I agree with Delta, it originally had 30" or 32" rears, and someone cut a big disk of steel to adapt it to 38" rubber.

To go to 20.8x38, you will probably want/need to go to wider rims on the rear. Since those rims are probably welded to the disks now, you'll either have to cut them off and weld the new rims on, or get the correct 38" centers.

I hope you're not going to turn her into a "trailer queen"And please dont butcher her up and turn her in to a "puller".A tractor like that needs to work.

I'm going to use it. That's half the fun. I use all of them. i have a 766 diesel tricycle, and a one owner 2510 JD gas I got from a neighbor and a JD 520. I like to use them.
