Hello all,

Been a long time reader on the forum but have not posted before. I have a 1947 M that I am in the process of restoring. It has a few unique options on it including: Schwartz wide front, M&W 9 spd, M&W Live hyd, M&W Pto lever, M&W throttle lever, & M&W oil dipstick. I"ll try to post up a few pictures, just wanted to share.
Comments or any other unique options i"m not aware of are more than welcome!

I just got the stickers on my 50 m. Pretty happy with the new paint, Id love to have a wide front (suppose to look at one maybe this coming week). All in all my M has been the easiest to work on of all the tractors I've had. Its definately sons favorite. Good luck with the resto looks like youve got a good one to start with.

Great looking tractor. Gow many sets of weights do you have on the rear? I have 3 sets on my M and it pulls like a 1466. LOL

Check the tube that goes between the gov and the carb for an oval tag or oval cast into the tube. That would tell you if it had an M&W gov.

Judging by your first picture of the second set you might have the M&W gov. I see a shiny silver tube going to the carb. My SMTA has a shiny tube as well. The H has a red one like normal with the M&W cast in rather than a tag.
