Hi Guy"s Happy Year wind gust up to 40MPH here
I"m working no dad"s M removed carb and cleaned install new kit but the needle seat hole is bigger then the old one. Used old seat
On the M it has a M&W throttle lever handle took cover off side of gov housing i can adj the low speed screw to stop with no spring tension go to high side stop screw can not hit the stop it"s 1/2" short a lot of spring tensio
 
Well, at this stage, just a guess, but does it have the correct spring fitted? There were two types of spring, I believe. Moreover, someone may have fitted one which looked right, but was not. Can you post a couple of pictures?
