Any info on these Farmall M? cultivators?

I found these two row front cultivators for what has to be the Farmall M that was also in the barn. There are also these two fertilizer distributor frames that mount on either side? The only manual I've ever found wasn't the same model as what I have and I've never been able to find pics of one mounted. There are several lever arms and brackets that I assume connect the front and rear and one or two hydraulic cylinders. I'm gonna be using a two row planter/cultivator on my M's 3pt and it would be great to use the cultivators on the front and leave the planters mounted on the 3pt cultivator.

There are also two, two piece sprockets that look like they mount on the M's axle and drive the fertilizer distributors. I have one fertilizer can in great shape in the barn, but can't locate a second one.
Any ideas?

So many variations of culitvators it is hard to tell, but it looks about right for an HM-250. The fertilizer unit might be HM-53C, which was used with the 250 cultivator. If you have Guy Fay's data book, pull it out and look at the front cover. If you don't have it, look at it on Amazon.com.

If you decide there is too much missing or it isn't good enough to ever use again, I've been looking for the cylinder mounting brackets that bolt to the tractor frame rails.

They do look similar, but the ones I have have a heavy square tubing and the picture looks like they are angle. Everything is in great shape and I'm sure its all there except for the one fertilizer bin, but just piecing it all together without something to go by is gonna be a pain.

I think you are refering to a potential difference in the main frame. You are probably looking at the forward brace in the picture. The HM-250 does have a square tubular member with a brace on the front side. The brackets with the attached pegs in your last posted picture are the ones I am looking for.

I don't suppose u have any images of the the lifting
mechanism that you would share or point me towards? the
brackets don't seem like they would hard to duplicate. I could
easily make you some patterns if that would help.

It's probably a "side dressing" attachment for an H or M cultivator. The C/SC, etc. side dresser drove off a gear extention off the brake shaft. I think you might be able to use it when planting if you don't have fertilizer boxes on your planter.

They are side dressers for an H or M with front mount cultivators. Are you going to keep them? If not I would be interested in them. Email me [email protected] if you want to get rid of them.

It is actually my brother that needs the brackets. Patterns might help him. He sent me copies of a few pages from a manual so I'd know what to look for. Those same pages may answer your questions. I can scan them for you if you give me an email address to send them to.

These may not be as sought after, but I've never seen anyone with them and have never seen any for sale so I would hate to part with any of it. It's also a family tractor so there is sentimental attachment. I do have a set of Super A planters that I don't have a Super A for and a Cub that I want to put planters on, but can't find a decent set at a reasonable price.

out and get exact measurements. thanks

GACub,

I would be intrested in purchasing your Super A planter unit. I might also have what you are looking for with the Cub. I'd have to get it all together to see if it's complete. Please send me an email, and we'll be in touch.

Regards,

Chase
