Farmall H ready for snow

Fabricated this out of a stanhoist loader frame and a 3pt
blade. Don"t have chains for it yet but do have couple sets of
weights bolted to rear should be enough for traction. Just
wanted to share.

Looks like it would do the job...but I don't see any kind of shoes on the blade, if there isn't any, you better figure on putting some on. You'll "scalp" the daylights out of your drives and yard without 'em. And bear in mind...without chains you can't have too much weight on the rear of the tractor

a set of chains will really help. heres my h all ready for winter. chains off a road grader, calcuim in the tires, winter fronts on. cab keeps it toasty.

cab is a home-made. blade is a steel one salvaged from a scrap pile, has wood extensions on it to make it a little bigger. engine side covers are plywood, and just clip on.

get a length of pvc plastic pipe , 2 or 3 inch, as long as your blade is wide. make a cut down the lenght on one side with a skil saw and drive it on the bottom of your blade. it will let the blade float on the ground without digging in, and wont push gravel everywhere.

I am ready also but I hope I can take it off in the spring after not ever using it. LOL I think that is a fairy tale.

I have a 6' blade that attaches in place of the bucket on my standard lift loader. Works very well. Have pushed alot of snow and graded the drive over the years.I have tried to post pics in the past and havent got it right. Will keep trying.
