Made a posting a few days ago about pulling a 10-20 flywheel. I made a puller and got it off without too much trouble, thanks for the replys. Next question-How do I get it back on????

ive always got mine on far enough with a big deadblow mallet to where i could start to thread the nut. then i tightend it all the way down with a flywheel wrench

I was going to press mine on, as my press will fit under the trolley hoist in my shop. was going to re-install the crank into the block, then set it on end in the press.

Old-F20's suggestion sounds like a winner also.

This will be my first "go round" dealing with the fly-wheel, so I am sure other's will join in.

it doesnt hurt to warm it up, I've got an old oil stove I heat my garage with, I put it on top of there for an hour or so till it is warmed clear through , enough I don't want to hold it bare handed, then they usually slide on pretty far, put the nut on and tighten, smack it with hammer and wood block, retighten nut, repeat a couple times until it feels like it on as far as it wants to go.
