Pictures of my M, pre-restoration

I was finally able to get over to the barn today and clean up so I can now begin the restoration process. Here are a few pics, if anyone notices anything in the pictures that needs immediate attention please feel free to let me know. thanks

Did he tell you how hot he got it to make the head look like that? Find a nice restored M somewhere and take several pictures of it, from all angles, then you'll have some idea of what you need. By the time you've got that tractor looking right you'll know it pretty well.
 
Looks like a good straight old m,although someone went crazy on the engine with a can of black spray paint.good luck on your project. Jim
 
It has a brand new head on it, he spray painted it with black rustoleum....its all going red this summer
 
yeah mike, that is an MTA behind it, it was my father-in-laws before he passed away, once I have my M finished by brother in law and I are going to being a complete "show" restoration on it.
 
Looks like a fun project.

In my mind, as long as the sheet metal's straight, everything else is easy. Everything looks to be in pretty good shape there.
 
You got some great tractors there! I am a HUGE fan of the entire "M" series (as MANY know on this sight! :)

Get all of those going! Do not leave them in the shed to deteriorate !
