Is Wardner, Marty's PR man?

Yea maybe. I wonder just how many people have looked at his auctions because he has made some many post!

i was looking at some 8n front hubs on ebay
and was redy to bid then i checked the seller. and gess who? and now iam still looking. Bob

I would rather read that than "what year is my tractor" or other silly posts. People need to do a little something to help themselves. They are just too lazy nowdays.

Bob have you ask over on the N page here on YT?

Are you guys hitting Santa's fortified egg nog early??
This thread has nothing to do with title question. You guys are just babbling

While I may be partially responsible for the ridiculous bidding going on now (29 bids at $405 with three days remaining), I can assure you that Marty has a very high opinion of his own business skills and is not looking for representation or consulting services. He gets more than enough unsolicited advice (and pressure) from his eBay account rep. Email Marty and see what he says. He will probably reply with "Who?".

Let me also assure you that he does not read these boards although he should. I have a feeling his eBay account rep may have glanced over here a few times.

I can't believe the bidding. There are several dealers in on the action. One has 4800 buys or sells. Three more are over 770. It only takes one bid to win and it should be at the last moment. Any prior bid only raises your final settlement price.

Just think what things would be like if Marty hadn't buried that grill in 101 plain old M auctions. "SMTA" anywhere in the auction would have drawn in more bidders.

You can expect another Marty thread on Tuesday. I'll be submitting an "after action report" on all the '42 M auctions. Again, I am giving you fair warning.

Wardner.

Is it really worth all this effort? I bet you have gotten more people to look and bid on his stuff than you chased away. I seen several people who have had problems post. One who you scared away and several more who claim to have never had a problem.

So that means that every story has 2 sides. We have only read yours. You almost make me want to be an Ebayer just so I could buy stuff from Marty and claim I got great deals just to annoy you.

So if you are restoring a tractor I would guess that you are a collector.....maybe only of one but still a collector. Restoring a tractor is an expensive hobby, man up and pay the price if so. If you are farming and money is that tight maybe you need to take a long look at what you are doing. Break out a spread sheet and see if it's cost effective to keep that tractor. At a minumum your time is worth minumum wage. Add the hours X minumum wage in your state to the parts you are buying. It may not work out unless you think of youself as worthless which I rather doubt. You seem to have a high opinion or yourself.

You sir have only given me the desire to support this guy just cause you have made this into an annoying matter. You remind me of my youngest son who will not stop kicking that long dead dog.

Would you just please give it a rest?

Rick

oddyanker,

I only do this to annoy you. It's worth it. However, this is the last post I will address to you, ever.

Kinda funny that you are the one who is lowering yourself to name calling. In part I'm highly offended but considering the source not greatly surprised. My nick I think was earned, defending your right to be what you are. I was a tanker from 74-96, US Army and I'm getting old.

Now you have gone and shown everyone what you truly are.

So what if fail to respond to me, I don't like you or people like you anyway? The point here is to get you to stop with the Marty post. It's getting really old and you are coming across as a vindictive cry baby.

I will in the future point out to anyone and everyone that you are way out of line.

Make me happy and don't respond to what I post!!!!!!!!! This is really funny!!!! ROLFLMFAO!!!!!!!!!!

Ya know, we could have kept this civil!!!!

Oh by the way, I do wish you a very Merry Christmas and a great New Year Wardner!!!

i know what he paid for the m long before it was posted on here. im bidding on the grill because i was not going to let it go for nothing when he did not know what he had. but you cant get a good deal on anything because of things like this it ends up everywhere. been to alot of auctions hes been to. i know marty and most things that are have been said i would say they are true but i will still buy parts from him if i need them. but most of the time its things i have to pickup as hes three hours from me. ive also had things shipped and never had a problem. the only thing i will say bad about him is he is not much of a people person
