Farmall M head?

I found this head online being sold as a Farmall M head. I paid $89 for it and had to drive 2 hours one way to pick it up. I knew it was not a Farmall M head... do you know what it is and why?

Because it doesn't have a vent passage at rear of head for SMTA and older.
To be honest the way picture is sized I cant tell for sure if its for a 300, 350 or 400, 450. kind of looks like the holes for studs are small in the picture. If its the big size there's a good chance its a 400 or 450 type gas head. Smaller chance its a non gas head for a 400 or 450, need to see combustion chambers. Its not a late LP head.

I guess I should have said it fits a Farmall M. T%hat would make it a C-281 head. D-Slater saw what I saw. No vent hole on the rear of the head. The 450 vents out through the valve cover not the back of the head. Although I am not an expert the casting of the LP head, it is different right above manifold and would be identifiable in the picture. Thanks playing!

Larry does it have a date code outside the valve cover area next to the 4th valve back or the next space back between stud holes?
