before MR Diener past away i worked with him on making pre 39 serial tags. His attention to detail was impeccable and you hands down will NOT find a better tag than he made. His wife still carries on making tags. you will not be dissapointed witht the quality!!

Rivets if OEM remembers to included them. I have 2 OEM tags -- they are not very careful with them, one was scratched and the holes did not line up, I had to reorder the rivets. If I get another tag it will be from Diener.

Be patient with OEM. The owner was killed last summer in a tractor accident and his widow is trying to keep the place running.

I know that and his wife has my sympathy. All of my OEM parts are usable but several required some modification. Most were purchased long before he was killed. I will continue to order from OEM, or Steiner, etc which sell OEM parts, but there will always be some defects. That does not bother me because I expect it when I need parts not available any place else. Their serial tags are ok, but there are better ones available. For most of OEM's parts there is no other source and I appreciate OEM's existence.

Mrs. Diener's tags are top quality.
My complaint is that she uses a jewler to engrave the numbers and they are very light and hard to see. If its going to set in a musuem its great, but if your going to use tractor and abuse tag your better off with OEM tag its engraved deeper and tag is heavier weight.IMOP.
I have my Diener tag in my office for display and the oem on my 400.
