1466 hydraulic pressure light

Previous post got me wondering....when I push the clutch in it comes on for about 5 seconds and then flashes what does that mean?

Means the filament in the bulb is warmed up.

It's the same idea as a bulb on the Christmas tree. The light has a built-in flasher. Perfectly normal.

I have a 1206 and the lights have never blinked. They are on steady or are off. But I am going to redo the whole electrical system and bring it into the 21st century. Johninmn has given me an idea on this mod. I think I will put a low load flasher on both the hydraulic and engine oil pressure lights just so they will get attention quicker. I am also relocating them from where they are now to up closer to the line of site. I am also building a complete gauge panel as the only gauges on the thing are the tack and the air cleaner differential pressure gauge. But thanks for the blinker idea.
