I amd looking at worksaver and Saginaw three point conversions. Anyone have any experience with either of these or maybe another model? Thanks

i have a saginaw on my m, and it is a very well built hitch. will take cat 1 and cat2 implements. has down pressure, and you can remove two pins and the hitch will allow the hitch to float, nice for bush-hogging. here is a pic

I bought a Saginaw for my 300. I liked it so much that I got one for my Super C also. The great thing about the one on the super C is I could just lift it off when I wanted to put on the side mower.

Appreciate you taking the time to reply. I also have a Super C but for right now cash won't spread far. Got to try and find a front loader for the Super C. Thanks again

I have the Saginaw hitch. I think it is a better design than most oem hitches. And it very well built.

I'm planning a going with the Saginaw for my 350. I have a worksaver on my H and it is all right, but the Saginaw lets you keep the orignial drawbar. My plow and potato digger work best if they are hitched a little off center.

Not to answer for Glenster, but the holes RIGHT above where the hydraulic cylinder pins are a big hole on each side.If you put a pin in in the right and left one,it will "lock" it solid.(In this photo, they are removed and will allow the hitch to float up when lifted. Same hitch that is on My Super M

The way it is UNPINNED in the photo right now,you can grab the lift arms and pick them straight up with no resistance.

The great thing is with the Saginaw is that you can retain your original U bar and swinging drawbar.

MOST IMPORTANT: I wouldnt buy a 3 point kit if I couldnt still use the u bar and swinging drawbar. Some kits do not allow you to retain the original drawbar !!!!

Having both is the BEST of both worlds! I have a shut off valve installed in my 3 point cylinders so I can use the hydraulics on my #16 trailer plow hooked to the original swinging drawbar.

That sure is an excellent point but I do not have a draw bar with my M, don't think anyway. I'll have to rumage around Dad's garage is see if there is one there. I would not think they would be that expensive, I may be wrong. Thanks for the reply.

Doesnt matter,

I believe the U bar is the same as an M,but the swinging drawbar is different ???(M is LONGER than the H)

My mistake, the H has the U bar and tongue. I was thinking about the draw bar that spanned the Saginaw three pt. Sorry, thanks again

Once last question::: You think the Saginaw is stout enough to handle a Cat 1 hoe??????

IDK about that one ?????

You talkin about putting a backhoe on your H????

I dont think you got enough tractor weight to deal with it.Also,it would put ALOT of stress on your axle housings !!!!!!!

I would have to see a pic of the unit you wanna use.Do you know what the back hoe unit weighs ???? If it is TOO big,it will want to "wheelie" the tractor.

There might be a SMALL unit out there it would handle???? Maybee some others would know???
