Cigar lighter on 966

Was a cigar lighter stock on the left underside of the dash? Also what is the red light by the key switch. Ours doesnt do anything what is it supposed to do? Is it a wait to start type thing. It may be burned out?

Lighter came stock.

Red light on right side is the hydraulic pressure tell-tail. Unscrew the lens to change the bulb.

The red light should come on (and flash IIRC) when you turn on the key switch.

After the tractor starts the red light should go out.

When you push the clutch pedal while the tractor is running, the red light should come back on.

You might see the light flash briefly when you shift the TA lever. If you do, expect to have issues with the TA or MCV in the near future.

Allen I'm new to this tractor what is it telling me about the hydraulics.If it lights up does that mean low pressure. Im not getting it.

Yep, low pressure.

Just a grounding idiot light like on the old cars/trucks.

Normal for it to lite with the TA on the low side and the clutch in tho.
