counter shaft on H farmall

I have tomarrow and Monday free and im going to dig into the trasmistion on my 39 H and change the counter shaft back to the old style. Anyone have any tips or trick for me to make it easier? Thanks Paul

It has been so long since I put new bearings in my H's transmission I have forgetten the details. It is a simple and straight forward transmission to work on. I think I just used the directions in the I&T manual.
