combine engines

The lists I have, which may be incomplete, show the 141 with either an SD-240 or BD-240. The 151 has a BD-264 or D-282. At least some of the 141s were 6-volts, don't know if they all were.

While we are at it what about the 403 and 503combines and windrowers,161,163,201,210.
There was a combine I believe a 122 and a 123, they had a flat head, again I think a truck engine. Can anyone ID what these machines had for an engine. Thankyou

THAT I can tell you. I have a 125SPV, a very decrepit "why did I drag this thing home" 125SPV... but I was in love with that elevated grain tank. It's a 233 or a 214 flathead six. Green Diamond to be exact. However, identifying which is which is another matter.

403: C-263, D-282, D-301
hillside: C-282, D-301

503: C-282, D-301

161: C-123

163: C-123

201: BD-144C, C-135

210: I've got nothing on this one (my list is too old).

122: GRD-214

123-SP: GRD-233

125-SP: GRD-233

127-SP: SD-240

This is from a 1968 list. It may be incomplete and any variation newer than 1968 isn't included.

Jim,

Excuse my ignorance, whats the difference in the 2
engines? We had a 141, and I know of several others
in the area. all had the same engine.(Or at least
looked the same.) On a side note, these were 6 volt.
(Ours was 12 though, Dad put a genny from a MD,I
think, on it.)
