Farmall 450 governor

I am wondering if any governors from other model models will fit correctly on my 450. I have been watching for one off of a 450 but theres not many of them. I seem to see more from M's and H's. Thanks for any help.

Chris you will see more parts listed for the m because there were around 270,000 of them built. There were only a little over 18,000 450's producted.

Chris - AFIK a governor from an M, Super M, 400, W6, Super W6, W400, etc. will all interchange with a 450 governor.

You may need to adjust the high speed stop screw and/or possibly swap the governor spring to get the correct high idle speed. But otherwise any of the above should work.

Row crop M, SM and SMTA need the governor throttle lever and shaft switched out with a 450 series type to work. 6,400 and 450 W series and farmall 400 will bolt on with no changes.
