This Fairway posting is a continuation spinoff of the Steel Wheel thread started 12/18. IHC produced several different Fairway models. There was a Fairway based on the Regular, a Fairway based on the F20, a Fairway based on the W12 and probably a Fairway based on the W14. All of the Fairways were standard with wide flat steel wheels with airating spikes rather than lugs on the rear wheels. I don't have specs on the Regular and F20 based Fairways but the W12 based Fairway had foot brakes, rear pto, fenders, and a low positioned folding seat as standard. Low pressure pneumatic tires with diamond tread were optional in lieu of the wide steel wheels. A more modern version of the Fairway tractors, though not called Fairway, were the various Low Boy models which were designed for cutting such as the Cub Low Boy, Cub 154 Low Boy, I404 Low Boy, I2424 Low Boy and other Low Boy utility tractors. All of these were standard in a lower profile than the same conventional model and were standard with turf tires soas not to mark the fairways, lawns, or other areas being mowed.
