Hello maybe someone could help me with this. 3414 same as the B414, trying to start it. I"m not getting fuel at the injectors. I have new fuel in it. Can hear the return to the tank when cranking. Have fuel at the filter, supply and return. Tried and tried to bleed the injectors but just get bubbles.
The fuel cutoff, white nob near my left foot, tried all the way in and out. Goven, tried all the way foward and all the way back.
Is there an internal filter in the injector I don"t know about?

Hi, the fuel shutoff position should be all the way in towards the dash unless someone modified it. Have you bled the injection pump using the bleed screws on the pump?
See as 424 has same engine:

there should be an internal fine mesh filter inside rear portion of the injector pump, where the line comes down from the filter, remove line then unscrew the larger plug, keep everything spotless as you are after the filter

also, there are 2 plugs on the injector pump that have to be bled, just in front of the lines going up to the injectors, do lower one first while working the pump, upper one is on the lid of the injector pump

Yes, I bled the lower one. I did not get any fuel out of the top one.
I"ll look for that mesh screen. That was what I was wonderng if there was one hiding somewhere.
I had that nut off too. Did not look inside.
It has been a year since I ran it and couldn"t remember the position of the fuel cut-off.
Thank you

If tractor has not run for awhile the metering valve and/or plungers are probably stuck. Call 574 893 4172 if you have any questions, after 7 PM is best time.

Well I finally got the thing running. I think it was a stuck fuel valve. After bleeding it it would start then die. Start right up, and die. finally when I started it for the 5 seconds it would run I tapped the injector pump with a hammer. The idle ramped up like something freed up. It stayed running after that.
