Hey,

I was wanting to "pretty up" a carburetor and read on here somewhere that lacquer paint was good to use.But I cant seem to find it?

Any ideas?

Bad advice. Get your local body supply shop to fill a rattle can with an epoxy paint with the hardener in it. Spray it that same day. It will have just a one day shelf life.

Use the same paint you would paint the tractor with. As far as duralility lacquer was the sorriest paint ever made.

If you want a clear fuel resistanct paint, use model airplane LustreKote. I use it on Mags & carbs. Some of my customers want the bare metal look after bead blasting.
