need some advice! I have a 57 cub with exhaust down under the rear axle. I have gotten a different hood/tank with hole for pipe to go up.In doing the change I thought I would Caswell coat the tank. I acid etched it and rinsed and then rinsed with alcohol then noticed a (i think) baffle in tank.If I coat with the sealer will that end up sealing half of the tank off? Has anyone done a seal job themselves. and did it make the tank olny 3.5 gal capacity. thanks for any help

There is a baffle inside the Cub tank. I'm not familiar with Caswell, but if it's anything like RedCote, you will not seal up half the tank. Make sure the tank is very clean inside before you start.

Thanks screwstick,
Caswell in a 2 part phenol novolac epoxy. Their wording not mine. This will be my first time using it. I have used kreem coat before in motorcycle tanks but it seems the kreem doesn't like the new gas with ethenol. What i can see time cub tank isn't bad but it's a worker first and it stays outside so I thought I would coat the tank. Thanks again for you help.
